A decade across Microsoft and Amazon: the Windows Phone 7 email application, Office test engineering, and leading the three-engineer team that launched the Android Ads SDK into thousands of third-party apps — engineering at the scale where every bug ships to someone else.

Full-stack SaaS at Pike13 — APIs, white-label mobile, and deploys cut from two hours to twenty minutes — plus founder runs of my own, from Dance Your App Off in 2011 to ShuffleTix and the builds in flight now. Shipping when the team is small and the runway is real.

Warehouse integration platform
The event-driven layer translating events between Nordstrom’s commerce systems and third-party warehouse systems. I came in through PeloTech to architect the 3P dropship integration; Nordstrom hired me full-time a year later, and I went on to architect the WMS integration platform and serve as technical lead for its six-person engineering team — plus an offshore team — through 2023.
Built to replace a two-language monolith with event-driven microservices, the platform carried a new omni-channel fulfillment center through its day-one go-live, and the same work informed evaluations of top-tier WMS platforms for selection.
Windows Phone 7 email application
I architected, designed, and built the built-in email application for Windows Phone 7 — multi-select, list view, folder picker — and led the team that delivered conversation view. Flagship software on a brand-new mobile OS, with features regarded for performance, stability, and attention to detail.
Along the way I was the team’s subject-matter expert on UI programming, and ran sessions demonstrating upcoming features to Microsoft MVPs.
White-labeled mobile apps
White-labeled Android and iOS apps for Pike13’s business customers, so every studio, gym, and school could put its own brand in the app stores — one platform underneath, each customer’s identity on top. I co-developed the apps and managed the contract team behind them, maintained the two existing Objective-C iOS apps, and once prototyped an iOS app in a single day with React Native.
JotIt
The current founder build at ShuffleTix, Inc. — product, architecture, infrastructure, and operations, end to end. Details are staying close until it ships. More soon.

3P dropship integration
Event-driven middleware with dead-letter queueing and replay, plus a Kafka Streams pipeline with a deterministic integration-test framework — architected for high availability and throughput.
Omnichannel warehouse (WCOC) go-live
Supported the launch of a new omni-channel fulfillment facility, where the integration layer had to be right on day one.
WMS platform evaluations
Evaluated top-tier WMS platforms for selection — vendor landscape, integration cost, reference architecture.
Fitness-CRM mobile apps
Repurposed, internationalized, and maintained iOS and Android apps for fitness-CRM companies — including migrations for Apple’s new rules on white-labeled apps.
ShuffleTixsunset
An event ticketing service that randomized ticket orders for fair fulfillment — co-founded and built with two co-founders.
Android Ads SDK
Publicly launched the Amazon Mobile Ads Android SDK while leading a three-engineer team — including an emulated ad service for rapid feature development.
Dance video instruction app
Pre-market V1 app and backend delivering dance video instruction, built as CTO — my first founder run, alongside the big-tech day jobs.
Scheduling SaaS platform
Dozens of publicly documented RESTful APIs powering scheduling and client management, plus deploy automation that cut releases from two hours to twenty minutes.

DARPA Grand Challenge GPS
GPS software for an autonomous vehicle — a first production system where failure meant something crashed in the physical world.
Full-stack before full-stack was a thing.
The first tech job was repairing school-district computers for Hamilton County in 2001. By 2002 I was East Ridge High School’s technology consultant — building the student discipline-tracking website and teacher intranet in classic ASP, fixing teacher machines, and teaching an after-school C# programming class.
As Tennessee FBLA’s Technical Liaison, I built the state convention and competition registration website — which also assembled the awards-ceremony slide deck straight from the contest results, driving the ceremony and its live video. Database, server, UI, and the projector at the end of it: the whole stack, years before anyone called it that.
